X-Factor Is X-Flopping In America

Ratings Are Half What 'American Idol' Pulled In

X-Factor cast

In spite of the fact "American Idol" ratings have been steadily declining since 2008, former talent judge Simon Cowell's new show, "X-Factor" fared even worse in its U.S. debut, with half the ratings of its predecessor. Has the world had its fill of bad, cheesy karaoke music and mean judges that know nothing about music and real talent (See: Simon Cowell arrogantly failing to spot Jennifer Hudson's talent, then making the same mistake again with Susan Boyle).

Simon Cowell's new face

Even in light of all the publicity stunts Cowell engaged in to launch "X-Factor" coupled with a tremendous amount of costly advertising and a new plastic surgery issued face (which looks painful, might I add) it has greatly underperformed (both the show and his face). The byproducts of these shows inevitably end up being soulless, derivative music the public can do without.

President Obama's 50th Birthday Party Offered A Small Break From Washington

Barack Obama so glad to get out of Washington yesterday he can barely contain his excitement...either that or Rush Limbaugh quit (he didn't)

U.S. President, Barack Obama, turned the big 50 this week, which coincidentally, can't be said for his approval ratings in office, which fell like the stock market, after his debt ceiling deal with Congress on Tuesday.

Obama to Jennifer Hudson: Girl, you got skinny!

For those that chose to celebrate with Obama at his birthday dinner/party/fundraiser in Chicago last night, featuring such stars as Jennifer Hudson, it cost them $35,800. For that kind of money, for dinner he should have served diamonds with a side order of pearls.

Obama: thank you suckers guests for buying a $35,800 ticket

If guests also opted for a picture with the President, it cost them an additional $10,000. Then again, one could have gone the cheaper route by just getting Photoshop and slapping his picture with theirs and pressing print. Hey, if the FBI can play around with Photoshop, can play around with Photoshop, so can you (LOL). Never let it be said that the Judiciary Report doesn't help you save money during the financial crisis.
